A Bulgarian policeman and a policewoman fired

A POLICEMAN AND A POLICEWOMAN FIRED
A Bulgarian policeman and a policewoman have been fired from the Bulgarian police after providing a cover to Dimiter Liubenov who in the early morning hours of 25 September 2022 crushed his Porsche with high speed into the Ford Focus with which a French family have been returning to Sofia Airport after taking a holiday in the Bulgarian mountain resort of Bansko. The investigation has established that Liubenov was high on drugs and he was drunk. It became clear that Georgi Malinski and Liubka Gecheva have not helped the casualties of this accident and a 64-year old French national lost his life. Instead they provided protection to Liubenov and tried to escort him to safety. The two former members of the Bulgarian police will be charged for police misconduct and for  misuse of police authority for personal gain.
