ARMY PROPERTY FOR SALE
According to the Defence Minister Nikolay Tsonev, the Bulgarian army will sell more than 220 properties throughout the country. Most properties will be put out to tender but 10 of them, mainly shops and apartments, will be offered at market prices to the individuals who at the moment co-own them with the army.
From September 30 land plots owned by the army will be prepared for exchange. Among them are pricey locations at the seaside in Sozopol, Pomorie, Balchik, Tsarevo, Obzor and Varna and there re some in other resorts like Velingrad and Sandanski.
In Sofia the army owns an attractive properties in Ovcha Kupel and in Liuvin, as well as in Bozhurishte. Investors are especially interested in two properties in Plovdiv, while there are still several very attractive plots of land in Burgas and Varna.
